St. John's Wort Oil
Cellular regenerator, highly effective for skin damaged by external agents
Ingredients:
Olea europea (olive) fruit oil, Hypericum perforatum oil.
Method:
· The production process of this oil follows the traditional procedures of the traditional alchemists of days gone by.
· The plants are harvested on St. John’s Day, between midday and two o’clock in the afternoon, the moment at which their restorative properties are at their highest.
· The flowers of the plants are placed in glass flasks which are filled with olive oil from the first cold pressing. The plant is macerated in this way for three weeks, exposed to the sun and moon. The plant gradually surrenders its properties to the oil through prolonged, mild heat and exposure to the sun.
· The clear green of the pure olive oil used becomes a dark, ruby red as the process takes its course and the natural colorants or flavons act on the oil. After 21 days the oil is then filtered and separated.
· From this moment on the oil must be kept away from direct sunlight in order to keep its properties at their highest level.
Properties:
· Used for regenerating damaged skin tissues, especially useful in the treatment of cuts and wounds.
· Suitable for treating and preventing sores in the elderly.
· Helps reduce the signs of recent scaring.
· After excessive exposure to the sun apply a thin layer of St. John’s Wort Oil onto the skin and cover with a cotton t-shirt or leave to act.
· Naturally helps to counter depression and raise the spirits.
· Reduces hoarseness when used in a mouthwash.
· For incontinence apply St. John’s Wort Oil twice a day in a gentle massage around the bladder area, especially before bedtime.
NOTE: St. John’s Wort Oil is a photosensitising oil and must therefore not be used before exposure to the sun.
